Entry Level Hunting on Next Island / Ancient Greece

Here is a list of “puny” and low-level creatures for Next Island and Ancient Greece. Use this page if you are new, free to play, on a budget, and/or maximizing codex skill gains (more attribute contribution)

First, an explanation of how each planet is split into 3 sections – Links for each planet are at the bottom of the page. For each creature listed, I will try to provide a self-verified location. Please note that there may be better locations than what I provide on these pages and there are surely more locations available to hunt. You just have to explore!

To create a waypoint on your map using the coordinates on this page; copy the location (including the brackets), type /wp in your chat box, and then paste the location, then press enter. Example: /wp [Planet Name, Longitude, Latitude, Z-Axis, Label]

This first set of creatures is good to hunt with a Trade Terminal (TT) Pistol, Powerfist, or Shortblade, they are between 10 – 20 HP.

Next Island:

  • Adaptable Brown Papoo (20 HP – Tameable)
  • L.A.R.A. (20 HP – Tameable) – [Next Island, 135708, 83948, 286, L.A.R.A. Pens] Tameable will spawn every 15 kills
  • Mountain Boar Piglet (10 HP) – [Next Island, 136137, 83423, 109, Mountain Boar Piglet]
  • Screecher Puny (15 HP) – [Next Island, 135918, 83482, 124, Screecher Puny]
  • Yellow Papoo (Young 10 HP / Mature 15 HP / Old 20 HP / Provider 20 HP) – [Next Island, 135821, 83383, 112, Yellow Papoo Young]

For Mountain Boar Piglets, Screecher Puny, and Yellow Papoo Young, take the Televator that is South of Paradise Landing [Next Island, 135821, 83661, 311, Televator] to the ground, then go East.
Mountain Boar Piglets have a daily mission you can get from Sebastian: [Next Island, 137870, 83139, 111, Sebastian].
Yellow Papoo have a daily mission but counts only on Old, Provider, or Guardian. You can get that mission from the Cartographer and hunt in this location: [Next Island, 137324, 83612, 109, Yellow Papoo Mixed Maturity], avoid the Guardians if you are using an unamped TT weapon.

Ancient Greece:

There is a daily mission for hunting Cyclops. You can get it from Hiresh at Kamba Outpost: [Next Island, 126305, 89438, 156, Hiresh]

  • Cyclops Scout (20 HP) – East of Olympia TP between Sparta [Ancient Greece, 35045, 20117, 105, Cyclops Scouts / Bandits / Fighters], I wouldn’t engage the Bandits or Fighters with just an unamped TT weapon

In this next section, you will find a list of creatures that are suitable to hunt if you have purchased a Starter Pack from the Entropia Universe Webshop, or are using a TT Rifle or Long blade. These are good for your unamped Z12 Barbarella laser rifle, the TT Rifle is ok for 30 HP, and the TT Long Blade is ok for 40 HP. The following creatures are between 30 – 40 HP.

Next Island:

  • Brown Papoo (Young 30 HP / Mature 30 HP / Old 40 HP / Provider 40 HP)
  • Yellow Papoo Guardian (30 HP)

Yellow Papoo have a daily mission but counts only on Old, Provider, or Guardian. You can get that mission from the Cartographer and hunt in this location: [Next Island, 137324, 83612, 109, Yellow Papoo Mixed Maturity], shoot only Guardian with a Z12 Barbarella as you will experience too much overkill on the other maturities.

Ancient Greece:

There is a daily mission for hunting Cyclops. You can get it from Hiresh at Kamba Outpost: [Next Island, 126305, 89438, 156, Hiresh]

  • Cyclops Bandit (40 HP) – East of Olympia TP between Sparta [Ancient Greece, 35045, 20117, 105, Cyclops Scout / Bandit / Fighter] mixed with Scouts (TT weapon) and Fighters – personally, I would not engage the Fighters with an unamped Z12 Barbarella (see final section)

This final section is a list of creatures suitable to hunt if you have purchased a Starter Pack Gold or Platinum from the Entropia Universe Webshop, or if you are using the TT Long blade (ok for 50 HP). You will be using your Z12 Barbarella + ZX Sinkadus laser rifle and amp. These creatures are between 50 – 60 HP.

Next Island:

  • Brown Papoo Guardian (50 HP)
  • Grey Papoo (Young 50 HP / Mature 50 HP / Old 60 HP / Provider 60 HP)
  • Mutant Boar (Young 60 HP / Mature 60 HP / Old 50 HP)

Ancient Greece:

There is a daily mission for hunting Cyclops. You can get it from Hiresh at Kamba Outpost: [Next Island, 126305, 89438, 156, Hiresh]

  • Cyclops Fighter (60 HP) – East of Olympia TP between Sparta [Ancient Greece, 35045, 20117, 105, Cyclops Scout / Bandit / Fighter] mixed with Scouts (TT weapon) and Bandits (unamped Z12) – personally, I would not engage the Scouts when using your Z12 Barbarella + ZX Sinkadus, it is too much overkill, in my opinion.
